Websites vs Blogs

Websites are a form of advertisment that anyone can post information about their company. Usually a website is updated by a Webmaster. A blog allows you to post your opinion about a topic. Blogs allows the public to comment on the topic and give feedback to the Author. Blogs is a great way to interact with the public. Both platforms are great resources of information that you can obtain anytime and anywhere.

  1. I agree that blogs are mainly opinion, but I do know some companies that use them and I know people who use websites to give opinion. I think the main difference is that the blog is more interactive and it has a specific setup where websites in general may not have that.

  2. I view blogs as more of a broadcast platform than a website. In addition, blogs are generally very basic relative to most web pages.

  3. Hmmm - I agree that blogs are more restrictive in what you can post - they are meant mainly for writing opinions / facts & then replying in a similar vein. Websites these days can be practically anything! They are the backbone of the Web - blogs can be part of a website which can include videos, audio, text, images - can be advertisement, but also very educational & artistic as well.

  4. Blog becomes more popular right now, because its convenience, anyone can say anything whatever he/she preferred.

Just like a back and forth communication.
